Norway’s Gustav Iden won the Ironman world title in Hawaii in course record time on Saturday, ending a German winning streak at the venue. Competing in only his second race over the Ironman distance, Iden clocked 7 hours 40 minutes 24 seconds for 3.86 kilometres swimming, 180.2km cycling and a marathon run of 42.195km.
