Iran plans to sue the US technology company Meta for “incitement” in connection with the anti-government protests in the country. “The two social networks Instagram and WhatsApp [of Meta Platforms] were involved in spreading inflammatory material and endangering our national security as part of the conspiracy operations of our enemies,” said Deputy Interior Minister Majid Mirahmadi on Monday, according to the Mehr news agency.
