Three people have been killed and three injured in a shooting near the Spanish town of Villamayor de Calatrava, the Europa Press news agency reported on Wednesday. A man opened fire from a country house on a nearby street. The dead were the shooter, the driver of a tractor and a policeman, the agency wrote, citing police. Two other police officers and the 81-year-old father of the shooter were injured in the incident, which took place about 185 kilometres south of Madrid. A motive for the crime and further details were not initially known.
