By Alex Lang New York (Knewz) — A 6-foot alligator was kept in a home as a pet — not in the Southern U.S. — but in the Pacific Northwest. Talk about a long way from home. Recently, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office in Washington shared a video of animal control and deputies removing the 6-foot-7-inch animal from a home. Animal control had prior complaints about a resident keeping an alligator, officials said.
