Part of Cuxton Road in Strood was taped off from the public at around 11.10pm last Sunday and a men was left fighting for his life in hospital. The victim remains in hospital in a stable but critical condition. A 45-year-old man from Rochester was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm but has since been released on bail until February 13.
