A 16-year-old New York boy crashed a stolen SUV into two Secaucus police cruisers and then tried to flee early Wednesday morning, town Police Chief Dennis Miller said. The Brooklyn teen was charged with receiving stolen property, eluding, resisting arrest and unlawful possession of a weapon. The boy, whose name is being withheld because he’s a minor, is being held at the Essex County youth detention facility, Miller said.
