Tourist visas for Cuba are now valid for 90 days instead of 30, with one further extension of another 90 days allowed. The measure “allows foreign visitors to extend their stay in Cuba,” Tourism Minister Juan Carlos Garcia Granda said on Twitter, announcing the new policy was in effect from November onwards. Travellers will still require a so-called Cuban Tourist Card, which can be purchased before entering the country, for example at the Cuban embassy and sometimes ordered by post.
