At least four of the world’s most beautiful islands are right here in the Philippines. Yet, we have always attracted the least number of visitors among the ASEAN 6. Just one island in Indonesia, Bali, attracted over six million tourists in 2019 before the pandemic. Close to 10 million tourists visited Phuket in Thailand in 2019.
