About 80% of Madagascar’s unique biodiversity, numerous species found nowhere else on Earth, depends on its forest ecosystems. While the world stands idly by, deforestation of this critical island habitat continues unabated. UNESCO has put rainforests in Madagascar on its List of World Heritage in Danger.
