Suspicious envelopes that featured anti-government rhetoric were left at multiple locations in Jersey City Wednesday morning, forcing the evacuation of City Hall and at two mostly empty school buildings, school district officials and witnesses said. The envelopes were discovered at City Hall on Grove Street, church buildings on Jersey Avenue and public schools on Bright Street. They were quickly found to be harmless.
