Hoffenheim midfielder Grischa Prömel suffered an ankle fracture on Saturday which has ended his hopes of making Germany’s World Cup squad. Prömel, 27, had said he was on the provisional list of Germany coach Hansi Flick for the November 20-December 18 tournament in Qatar.
