Trainspotting railway nerds are set to descend on Switzerland later in October to witness a new world record for the longest passenger train. With an hour-long trip along the famous Albula Pass, Switzerland’s Rhaetian Railway plans to run a 1.9-kilometre-long train through the landscapes of the Graubünden region on October 29 for around 25 kilometres.
