Mazda is once again bucking the trend. While all the other manufacturers focus on developing electric cars, the Japanese are fettling a new platform for combustion engines and even plan a new diesel. The first car to emerge from this thinking is the CX-60 SUV, a petrol-based plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (or PHEV for short), which now moves to the top of the model range at prices starting from €47,300 in Europe.
