Russian passports issued in occupied Ukraine will not be recognized in the European Union, negotiators in Brussels agreed on Thursday. The same would apply to documents issued in the breakaway republics of South Ossetia and Abkhazia in Georgia, said a statement from the European Council, which represents the EU countries.
