By David Wetzel New York (Knewz) — Three cooling towers at a retired coal plant near Paradise, Kentucky were destroyed this week by the Tennessee Valley Authority. Video of the three cooling towers being demolished was shared to YouTube by the Tennessee Valley Authority. The video showed different angles of the cooling towers being exploded from the base as they tumble to the ground. The TVA, a federally owned electric utility, is clearing the site for use in the future, with plans to return it to legal “brownfield” status by 2030.
