RB Leipzig midfielder Konrad Laimer is out for weeks following an ankle injury, the club said on Tuesday. The 25-year-old, heavily courted by Bayern Munich in the last window, suffered the injury in Saturday’s 3-0 win over Borussia Dortmund. He will now miss Wednesday’s Champions League game at Real Madrid and this Saturday’s Bundesliga match with Borussia Mönchengladbach. The Austria international is also set to miss the Nations League games in France on September 22 and at home to Croatia three days later.
