Around a month after the death of Queen Elizabeth II, a major exhibition on the British royal family is opening at the Metropolitan Museum in New York. “The Tudors: Art and Majesty in Renaissance England” will focus on the transformation of the arts in the period between 1485 and 1603, from King Henry VII to Queen Elizabeth I. “This magnificent exhibition brings the stunning majesty and compelling drama of the Tudor dynasty to life,” museum director Max Hollein said.
