Eintracht Frankfurt ended a successful year on Sunday with a 1-1 draw at local rivals Mainz, which kept them in the hunt to finish in the Bundesliga top four. Frankfurt won the Europa League in May, one of the biggest honours in club history, and managed to reach the Champions League last 16 next February.
