German pilots’ union Cockpit has called a fresh strike at Lufthansa subsidiary Eurowings. The pilots are to stop working from midnight on Monday until Wednesday. The union said on Friday the reason for the strike was the insufficient offer made by employers regarding a collective wage agreement. Cockpit workloads are also part of the dispute. Pilots had already gone on strike on October 6, with about half of the planned Eurowings flights cancelled. It was the third major strike by Lufthansa Group employees this year.
