Russian President Vladimir Putin is recalcitrant in his attitude towards the war in Ukraine, says German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. “Unfortunately, I can’t tell you that the realization has emerged that it was a mistake to start this war,” Scholz said a day after his 90-minute phone call on Tuesday with Putin.
