After six months of the government’s Homes for Ukraine scheme, 808 visas have been issued and 720 guests have arrived so far in the district. Families fleeing the war in Ukraine have been offered a range of support by the district council with the help of local partnerships, including the delivery of more than 340 items of technology, including 93 laptops, 77 Chromebooks, 52 mobile phones and 124 SIM cards.
