American star Mikaela Shiffrin claimed back-to-back slalom wins in Finland on Sunday to further close on the World Cup race win records in alpine skiing with a tally of now 76. Shiffrin, 27, clocked 1 minute 52.21 seconds from two runs in Levi as she beat Swiss Wendy Holdener by .28 of a second, with Olympic champion Petra Vlhova third, another four-tenth back. The victories Saturday and Sunday moved Shiffrin within six of the women’s career record 82 wins from compatriot Lindsey Vonn.
