By Alex Lang New York (Knewz) — For the first time in years, the U.S. has seen a decline in the number of people who died in car crashes during a quarter, according to newly released data. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration released the data on Sept. 19. It showed about 10,000 deaths between April and June 2022. That would be a five percent drop from the second quarter in 2021. It’s the first time the numbers have dropped since 2020.
