Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has called on Russia and Ukraine to compromise on a “dignified way out” of the current conflict. “We need to find a fair and viable diplomatic solution that will offer a dignified way out for both parties,” Erdoğan said in his address to the UN General Assembly in New York. Ankara will work towards ensuring that the war is over by protecting the “territorial integrity and sovereignty” of Ukraine, Erdoğan adds.
