Hoboken may no longer be the mecca for live music it was in the 1980s, but at least there’s Finnegan’s Pub. Thanks to owner Eoin Finnegan and his staff, the Irish tavern on Willow Avenue boasts a warm, welcoming atmosphere, perfect for playing darts or watching football, hoisting a few with friends or chowing down on fish ‘n’ chips. More important, it’s one of the few places in the Mile Square City that hosts local bands on a regular basis.
