German skier Thomas Dreßen wants to return to the downhill elite when he makes his full comeback on the weekend from almost three years on the sidelines due to injuries. Friday’s downhill in Lake Louise, Canada, will be his first World Cup race since March 2020. His only race in the period was in the 2021 world championship downhill in Italy where he finished 18th.
