Olympic champion Alexander Zeverev is not expected to be fit again for next month’s Davis Cup Finals and was on Monday not nominated into the German team. Zverev has not returned to action after suffering a severe ankle injury in the French Open semi-finals in June, and he then suffered a bone oedema in his foot during light training.
