Three people died in recent years on stadium construction sites for the 2022 World Cup on Qatar, the ruling football body FIFA has confirmed to dpa. FIFA said that 37 further deaths were recorded but that these did not happen at the construction sites and wereregistered as non-work-related deaths by the organizing committee.
