Germany is looking into making another Olympic bid in the future but this attempt will not be “at any price,” the nation’s Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) president Thomas Weikert said on Monday. Weikert told a hearing of the parliamentary sports commission that the DOSB wants to avoid mistakes made in the past with another potential bid. He said a potential bid would not come until for the 2034 Winter Games or 2036 Olympics, ruling out having a candidate for the not yet allocated 2030 winter edition.
