BERLIN (Reuters) – Companies involved in jointly developing a next-generation European fighter jet named FCAS have reached an agreement on how to move forward, the French prime minister confirmed on Friday at a joint news conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. “I think we are on the right track”, said Elisabeth Borne. Scholz added that he was also “confident” the project spearheaded by Dassault Aviation, which also includes Thales and Airbus, can now move on as planned.
