German customs officers at the port of Hamburg seized a record 182 kilograms of crystal meth, said to be the single biggest haul ever confiscated in the country. “Such a large quantity of crystal meth, which we have removed from the illegal market, is another significant blow against internationally operating drug gangs,” said the head of Hamburg’s customs investigation office, René Matschke, on Tuesday.
